!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
while the 255hp turbo engine is a nice touch and the body looks great, the chassis still has 154,000 miles on it. Is the dealer the insane one for commanding this price, or am I insane for failing to obey?
*I am certainly insane for other reasons.

While that is extremely awesome and I want it, I just cannot justify that price. If I was going to put a number on it without actually looking at the price they were asking, I’d say $30,000 for it.

Westy syncros go for INSANE prices, especially with engine swaps. This is high, but not by nearly as much as it should be.

This van has it all. Syncro, full camper, Propex heater, solar, dual tanks, updated fridge, front/rear lockers, 1.8T conversion, winch, new canvas, updated suspension, compessor, RMW bumpers. Damn.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there was $100K in it, but will it sell for anywhere near that?
$50-60K tops
The unfortunate thing about this paticular engine choice is that it forces you to raise the engine cover, which makes for an uneven lower bunk.

Unless that white paint is made from pure cocaine, I say crack pipe.

That’s great and all but there are conversion companies that will build you something like this for the same price. you miss out on the whole “it a VW van” thing but you get A LOT more capability, and a big diesel engine.
